POLICY UPDATES - JAN 2023

Equipment care, Cancellation, Notification Updates.

Dear, Valued Member

We have made a few updates to our membership policies effective from 1 January 2023.

1. Low attendance class cancellation
When there is low attendance in a class (less than 3pax) the class will be canceled. If there are less than 3 member booked the class and insist to run the class, they can choose from any of the following options.
1. Convert the class to a duet private session (Yoga/Pilates)
2. Convert the class to a private session (Yoga/Pilates/Therapy)
3. Convert the class to the Trio V2MAX class (minimum requirement 2person)

2. Equipment Wipe

We are asking all members attending scheduled classes (excluding private sessions) to wipe clean the reformers and other equipment used during the class with disinfectant spray and wipes provided.

We are asking this because your sweat, and body lotions can leave the marks on the leather which might be hard to remove later on and other members may not feel comfortable to use the equipments because some classes are scheduled back to back. Our lively housekeeping always double checks the equipments, cleans the metal and rearrange the reformers before beginning the next class or session. We truly appreciate your support.

3. Socks

We are asking all members attending scheduled Pilates reformer classes or Private sessions to wear socks for safety and hygiene. Normal socks are fine for those need extra support, we sell grip socks in the studio.

Wearing socks helps you get a better grips to the foot-bar and the leathers on the reformer. We interchange the streps between feet and hands throughout the class and the dead skins from the feet can get stuck in the streps and move to hands or passed on to the other members. Its our responsibility to take care of our customers and make sure that our machines doesn’t become the breeding ground for harmful germs. Rest assured we wash the streps on regular basis but we do need your support.

4. Late Cancellation and No Shows

A late cancellation is considered when you cancel your booking for;

  • Trio Reformer, Group Yoga & Pilates classes less than 12 hour in advance, and
  • Private sessions less than 24 hours before.
  • The only exception to this policy is the emergency such as food poisoning, accident and hospitalisation. (With all due respect we wish you a safe and long life)
  • If you have slightest symptoms of illness, please cancel your booking through our app; this will allow enough time for the fellow member to get in the class specially if they are in waitlist. If you feel fine in the morning you can rebook the class or join the next available class that day.

NO SHOW means you missed the class without notifying the studio. The booking privilege will be revoked in case of 3 “No Show” with in one month.

When “Late cancel” or “No Show”, a class credit will be deducted, that means you will loose that booking credit.

5. Always refer to Abbysan Pro App for most updated schedule.

  • Extra classes are added regularly and are updated in our app. We encourage our members to book on waitlist if the class is full. If we see 2-3 waitlist we will open a class at next available time. For instance if the group reformer class at 9:45 is full we will open an extra class at 11:00am.
  • Class time change, cancellation and holidays are also updated in our app.

6. Package & Renewal
We are committed to working in your interests and benefits. That is why our membership packages are designed with a simple idea that our members don’t have to worry about loosing their precious wealth and time. And for that reason we offer credit based membership, where you have option to renew, upgrade or downgrade based on your availability and financial situation.

In simple words if your credit is about to expire just renew it with any of the membership option available and the remaining credit will be carried over. Remember, to best utilise your membership and avoid later stress, commit to minimum 2-3 classes per week.

7. Notification Updates

If you are not receiving email auto-notifications for your booking, it’s likely that our emails are going to your spam folder. Please add our emails info@abbysan.com and drabhishek@abbysan.com to your contact list or search and move them to your inbox.

Only upon your request we will manually send the reminder for your private session appointment through messaging apps, but we can not guarantee the sending time.

  • Free and Trial passes are for local residents only.
  • All Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise stated.
  • Reserve the class in advance to expedite entry to classes.
  • We encourage our members to book the class online through Abbysan Pro mobile app or Website to avoid disappointment.
  • Our studios only accept credit cards for payment above 1000 THB, + 3% credit card processing fees.
  • We do not offer unlimited membership plans; because they are not practical and only the marketing gimmick.  
  • Abbysan is not responsible for lost or stolen personal belongings.
  • Your memberships may be frozen only in the following circumstances;  Medical disability, Summer time school holidays. Please email these requests to info@abbysan.com 
  • Depending on the availability of the teacher and instructors the studio might be closed on some public holidays.
  • Abbysan Yoga & Wellness Centre reserves the right to revise, amend, or cancel any classes due to any unforeseen circumstances.

COVID-19 Concerns, CANCEL Booking Fee Update, Notification Updates.

Dear, Valued Member

We have made a few updates to our membership policies effective from 4 January 2021.

2. Late Cancellation and No Show Fees.

A late cancellation is considered when you cancel your booking for;

  • Trio Reformer, Group Yoga & Pilates classes less than 8 hours before, and
  • Private sessions less than 12 hours before.

Effective from 4 January 2021, a class credit will be deducted, that means you will loose that booking credit. (same as our policy update in July 2020)

NO SHOW means, you cancel your booking less than one hour before or missed the class. No Show fee will be the WALK-IN Price for the class or Private sessions. The fee will be deducted from your membership. (same as our policy update in July 2020))

Be sure to cancel in advance to avoid these charges.

3. Notification Updates

We noticed some of you are not receiving email auto-notifications for your booking. We believe that the emails are being send to your spam folder. Please add our emails info@abbysan.com and drabhishek@abbysan.com to your contact list or search and move them to your inbox.
